Happy Holidays from This by That!

Dear Friends,

Feeling grateful to our clients and collaborators as we wrap up 2022. Thank you for following along on our dispatches of new press and projects that our clients have achieved this year.

If you don’t know us, This by That represents independent architecture studios whose practices challenge the status quo. We pair those looking to build new environments or transform existing spaces with architects who share their vision. Some projects we successfully matched our architects with this year were The Playground at Coachella, designed by Architensions, and Canal Projects, a gallery in New York designed by Worrell Yeung. We also offer press and communications services and strategic advice to architecture practices, helping them to secure new partnerships and media exposure. 

We started This by That in 2016 to bring architecture to broader audiences, guided by the belief that design has the potential to impact both people and our planet’s wellbeing in significant ways. ​ As we look to the future, we continue to focus on our core mission: supporting architects dedicated to impact, who engage in research and experimentation, and especially those addressing housing, sustainability, and equity through an expansive practice of architecture.
